It may seem like a cliché, but it feels like only a few days have passed since OxyTech was born, that now distant June 25, 1986. I remember everything, but first and foremost, the slight trepidation of starting an adventure.
We've come a long way, through difficulties both large and small, but also—and I'd say above all—with great satisfaction for the work we've accomplished and the successes we've achieved, both for me and my colleagues at OxyTech and beyond: the fruit of so much passion and dedication to the world of lighting.
A heartfelt thank you to all my colleagues at OxyTech, with whom I've walked alongside over these 40 years: especially Mónica, our customer service and sales manager, and Aurelio, who often grumbles when developing programs but who, throughout all these years, has always proved his worth. A huge thank you also to my brother, another grumbler, who has been with me throughout these 40 years.
Thanks also to Danilo, who no longer works with us but who has nevertheless left an indelible mark.
A huge thank you to our Italian and international customers and our suppliers, many of whom have been with us for over a decade, who have placed their trust in us for all these years.
So, let's move forward for the next 40 years toward the new challenges that have always fascinated us: it's not an unattainable goal, if we maintain the same passion and dedication as we do today.
